In July 1857, Hans Christian Andersen visited Charles Dickens, spending five weeks in his home and ultimately ruining their friendship. This is definitely what didn't happen during their time together. Featuring two great-ish men, great powers that be, and one badass steampunk fairy, "The Entirely Plausible Adventures of Chuck and Harry" is absolutely not your traditional Dickensian comedy.
One act, approximately 48 minutes.
“Atomic Family Values” follows the Smith family, the beloved cast of a 1950s television sitcom. Placed in a nuclear fallout shelter immediately following the cancellation of their series, they have remained underground for nearly 20 years. Throughout the course of the play, one of the characters begins to suspect that the group was not housed in the bunker by well-meaning television executives and that, perhaps, something more nefarious is afoot. As more evidence is unraveled, the story becomes darker and more twisted, dealing with the possibilities of child abduction, forced starvation, and even exposure to harmful substances for the purpose of subservience, all appearing as cracks under the gloss and shine of television’s perfect family.
One act, TBD.
